We had the good fortune of connecting with Rebeca Flott and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Rebeca, we’d love to start by asking you about lessons learned. Is there a lesson you can share with us?
The most important lesson at this last year challenges was to be ready for quick changes, and never be afraid to be innovative! everything we face is a little less scary than it seems. The word pivot has never been more real to me than in this seasons. Adapting and learning to lean into the changes that life brings has been my biggest asset.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The studio in Colorado is a painting franchise where people can come in, have a drink, and learn to create a step-by-step artwork in two hours. My personal business is a handmade farmhouse inspired brand, that sells etsy, Handmade Amazon, and my personal website, What we are the most proud about our willingness to strive for greatness, and serve our Community well..I got to where I am today by starting from the bottom, and working my way up. I started as an artist at Painting with a Twist in Colorado Springs, learned all about the business, and then ventured out from there. It was not easy to build a brick and mortar shop because of licensing, laws, and much more. For my personal business, I had an Etsy shop that didn’t sell anything for two years. After trying with no success, I put myself through intense training to understand the ins and outs of how to run, market, and launch a business. What I’ve learned along the way is to not be discouraged by a difficult start. What comes after the start, is up to you. Your situation does not define your success, and even when you’ve made it to where you want to be, there is always more room to grow.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I was treating my best friend to my favorite places, we would take a drive to see the mountains. After, we would visit the hot springs, and stop to get a bite at Quixote’s in Colorado Springs, and finish it off with walking through Stanley marketplace in Denver.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to thank to my husband and pwat team for moving forward and support me every week with encouragement, I would to thank my business coach and friend Laura M. Rubin ,My life coach Kristen Campbell and my friend Precious owner of the hair fetish experience
