We had the good fortune of connecting with Rob Lohman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rob, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
For me, it wasn’t just about starting a business—it was about answering a call. I’ve always believed that when God places something on your heart, you can either ignore it and stay comfortable, or you can step out in faith and trust that He’s going to equip you along the way. My thought process was really a mix of conviction and clarity: I saw a gap that needed to be filled, especially for people struggling with addiction and feeling stuck in life. There are so many folks who need a Christ-centered approach to recovery, one that speaks to restoring hope, identity, and purpose—not just managing symptoms.

I didn’t want to build something typical or transactional. I wanted to create a place where people feel seen, known, and truly supported on their journey toward freedom. I kept thinking, if not me, then who? That’s when it shifted from just being an idea to becoming a responsibility I couldn’t ignore. It was about using my experiences, my gifts, and my faith to make a real impact. So I took the leap, trusting that God would open the right doors—and He has. Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business is all about helping people find freedom, hope, and purpose—especially those who feel stuck in addiction, recovery, or just life in general. What sets us apart is that we’re unapologetically Christ-centered. Everything we do is grounded in the belief that true healing and transformation happen when people reconnect with their God-given identity and purpose. We focus on the whole person—spirit, soul, and body—because recovery isn’t just about stopping a behavior; it’s about restoring a life.

One of the things I’m most proud of is my bestselling book, The Addiction Intervention Book: 11 Breakthrough Strategies for Professionals and Families to Help Clients and Loved Ones Discover FREEDOM From Addiction. It’s a practical, compassionate guide for families and professionals who are desperate to help someone they care about but don’t know where to start. The book provides clear strategies and hope to navigate one of the most difficult and emotional journeys they’ll ever face. Seeing the impact it’s made in people’s lives has been incredibly humbling and fuels my passion for this work even more.

What excites me most right now is the Christ-centered intensive outpatient program (IOP) we’re developing. It’s designed to offer deeper clinical support alongside spiritual and emotional healing in a community that meets people where they are and walks with them as they reclaim their lives. It’s a place where faith and professional care come together, and I truly believe it’s going to be life-changing for so many.

Getting to this point wasn’t easy. There were times I questioned if I was equipped for this, but I kept moving forward because I knew this wasn’t just a business idea—it was a calling. I’ve faced setbacks, financial obstacles, and seasons of doubt. But every step of the way, God has been faithful. The biggest lesson I’ve learned is obedience over outcome—when you take the next step in faith, God shows up and does what only He can do.

What I want the world to know is simple: There is hope. No matter how stuck or hopeless someone feels, God isn’t finished with their story. Through the work we’re doing, I get to be part of helping people rediscover their worth, their purpose, and their freedom.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Definitely would need to hit the mountains for some outdoor adventure. Probably land in the Vail area to hike the Booth Falls trails all the way to Booth Lake. For a little more excitement and challenge…would hit this beginning of June, due tot eh excessive snow still on the trails. Hitting downtown Vail for some Vendetta’s pizza, followed by some chill music by the Vail Bridge, as we connect with my friends in recovery for a possible outdoor campfire meeting.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Absolutely! There’s no way I’d be where I am without the support and encouragement of some incredible people. First and foremost, I have to give all the credit and glory to God. He’s the one who gave me the vision, the courage, and the strength to step into this calling. Without Him, none of this would be possible.

I also want to shout out my family and close friends who believed in me, even when I had doubts. Their prayers, love, and constant encouragement kept me going on the tough days. And I can’t forget the mentors and leaders who poured into me over the years—whether they knew it or not. People like Jeff Krommendyk, Don McReavy, The Men of The Way, James Malinchak, and Nick and Megan Unsworth helped shape my understanding of what it means to lead with purpose and serve with compassion.

Lastly, to the recovery community itself. Walking alongside people in their healing journey has taught me so much about resilience, grace, and hope. It’s an honor to do this work, and I’m beyond grateful for everyone who’s been part of the story so far.
