We had the good fortune of connecting with Robert Fehlen and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Robert, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Once I got clear on who I wanted to serve (visionary business owners and real estate investors), the thought process began with, “How could I create a life of conversations and relationships with these people that are up to big things?” Which ultimately causes you to ask, “How can I drive more value to their business and life?.” That then translated into a personal mission to talk to over 100+ business owners and real estate investors in 6 months through 1:1 conversations. The purpose of those conversations was to truly understand their challenges, opportunities, setbacks, goals, where they sought advice, and so on.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Atmos Planning is a Personal CFO company dedicated to empowering visionary entrepreneurs to pursue what they love while building personal & meaningful wealth in their life and business. We don’t sell insurance or manage stock & bond portfolios, allowing us to truly sit on the same side of the table as the entrepreneur to help them get what they want out of life. Plus, with our tax planning strategies, we’ve saved entrepreneurs almost $1,000,000 in taxes so far this year.

One of the things I am most excited and proud of is the amazing team that we have assembled so far. We are starting to hit 3-5 year milestones in less than a year while maintaining work-life balance and the ability to work from anywhere in the US.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Garden of the Gods is absolutely stop number one. Manitou Springs, the Incline, and Pikes Peak would definitely be on the list as well. Switchbacks Coffee and 3E’s Comedy club are musts while you’re in town as well.
