We had the good fortune of connecting with Erin Rist and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Erin, what do you attribute your success to?
People crave being in community with other people. This craving for “community” can be with family and friends but is also with humanity as whole. How good does it feel to rock out to an epic concert in community with thousands of other fans? How fulfilling is it to experience live theatre in community with hundreds of other art lovers? How soul-feeding is it to fund a non profit’s mission at a fundraiser event with a room full of other community do-gooders? Gather Event Marketing’s mission is to bring people together in community to build powerful brands. How a person experiences your brand and how the community of your brand makes them feel makes all of the difference. It is because of this intention behind our marketing campaigns and events that we are successful.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am the most excited to be supporting all of the innovation, passion and dedication to our local community here in Denver. There are so many people, organizations and non profits here locally working each day to make life better for their communities and the possibilities of the future are endless.
It is my pleasure to help these organizations create experiences for their communities that drive their brands, fund their missions and grow our future together.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love the vibe of the LoHi area- from the restaurants there to the walk-ability of different experiences! I love to take in a ball game at Coors Field and my happy place is on the carousel with my kids at the Denver Zoo.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Special thanks to my husband for supporting my work along the way, never placing any pressure on me and stepping up as my co-worker, IT department and creative side kick. Also, many thanks to all of the women I have met over the years who take the time to listen to, support and lift each other up.
