We had the good fortune of connecting with Robin Lloyd and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Robin, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
As a homeschooling mom of four who needs to make an income, it is a priority for me that I am able to prioritize my family over work hours. I also have a strong desire to build a supportive online presence for parents to encourage them and provide community. I have chosen to build an online presence with a goal of running a blog and social media channels that are a place where parents can come to be strengthened and find friendship!
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I strive to celebrate and normalize neurodiversity and the family unit in the posts I share. I hope to help parents see the beauty and worth in the every day, seemingly mundane and sometimes frustrating moments of life!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would visit the Denver zoo, and pack a lunch to eat while we watch the monkeys.. We would go hiking at beautiful Herman Gulch and take a picnic to enjoy and play at scenic Clement Park.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The book Awaking Wonder by Sally Clarkson brought me back during a time when I was feeling completely lost, and reminded me why I chose this path as a mother. I am grateful to my own parents and family for the roots of love they gave and continue to give me.
