Meet Sasha Laurie | Digital Marketing & Social Media Management Consultant

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sasha Laurie and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sasha, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
It was not an instant attraction to me to start my own business. I had spent years doing the marketing, graphic design, social media, website maintenance, and social media as a one-person team for an interior design company. I loved what I was doing, but I felt something I could do something more fulfilling. I decided to take my expertise to a wider audience. I was most excited to begin working with smaller, female-run companies in my community. As a new female entrepreneur myself, I know what women in the working world are up against. As soon as I began marketing myself, I realized what an incredibly supportive network of women are out there. I have been so honored to be apart of that new frontier.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The world “revelry” means “lively and noisy festivities.” I created Revelry Co. as a resource for companies to celebrate their brand, whatever that may be. I specialize in helping companies find their brand identity in the form of fonts, colors, voice, etc. and letting that be heard through marketing. As a digital marketing and social media specialist, I can create an identity for a company to use to speak to their ideal demographic. I have the ability to create any visual assets that a company needs. I also specialize in photography, so I also capture the images that best represent that identity. My goal is not to change what a company’s message is, but to rather enhance it so it can be heard and embraced. Despite our saturated market, every company has something new to bring to the table. I help each client figure out what that is and who it can help. Then, we yell it from the rooftops and let the revelry ensue.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
As a Boulder native and a current Denver resident, I would have a lot on the list! Day one, we would head up to Boulder for a fun day of must-do’s, including a Chautauqua hike and a walk along Pearl Street. We would get a quick lunch and margarita at the Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant. The next day, we would do the Denver must’s, starting with brunch at Snooze and then stopping by Red Rocks to see the spectacular view and get a sweat in. For dinner, we’ll hit my favorite local spot, Barcelona Wine Bar and enjoy the lively atmosphere, great food, and fabulous drink selection. End the night by hopping around Rino area.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to give a HUGE shoutout to Alexandré Pinto of Tectonic Design Build and Kristie Shehan of The Scout Guide Boulder. They have been amazing supporters of my new venture.
