We had the good fortune of connecting with Shelly Beyerle and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shelly, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Mostly we saw an opportunity to help people in a new way. No one knew what this Rossiter Stretching System was, it wasn’t out there yet. For my pain it was such a game changer, I wanted everyone to know about it!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
This was not easy. Unfortunately, in the ‘pain relief’ field, a lot of practitioners see you as ‘the new kid’ when you are up and coming. They are not curious.
If they have never heard about what you do, they are three times more skeptical.

We grew fast because my clients could tell what I did was different, what I did was working, and they knew I truly cared.
I was listening to them.
Everyone who had been suffering from chronic pain now had hope and saw that I was in it with them, for the long haul, to get them to a better life.
They would leave their sessions and say to friends: “You gotta go see Shelly.”
After a year, my business was doubling faster than I could keep up with it.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Old Town Fort Collins! So charming, so many lovely places to eat and shop.
Plus I love Fort Collins thrift stores, we have the best!
Our parks are incredible. Basically, anywhere where kids are laughing and having a fun time is a good place to sip a latte 😉

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My biggest encouragers were Keith Beyerle & David Henre. David said this method and your time into it, can be anything you want it to be. Keith saw my passion right away and was enthused about helping me help others.

I was pretty obsessed with getting people out of pain and helping them live their best life, so I think I was obnoxious in the beginning! Just overly excited, like a puppy. They both calmed me down and helped steer me and offered a TON of focus and education from their experiences.
