We had the good fortune of connecting with Shiloh Justice and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shiloh, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Questions like this always makes me reminisce, because I’ve always conducted myself as a business woman even before the thought of Blink Twice came about. The process behind creating Blink Twice was a push from my family to put all the gifts God has blessed me with under one umbrella. I would always do things for my family, friends, and even neighbors; and one day my family said “you know this could be a business”. Those 7 words birthed the company I have today. All from a girl doing what she was blessed to do and a family who believed in those blessings… Blink Twice was founded.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Here at Blink Twice, we offer a numerous amount of different options for our clients. Whether it’s baking cakes, catering, beauty(hair, makeup, lashes), logos, business cards, invitations as well as photography and flyers. Being able to offer these many fields allows us to be a one stop shop for a lot of our clients and this is what we notice that our clients really appeal to. The path to finding our niche was not easy. It was a lot of hard work and trial & error. We overcame our challenges by always striving to do better and to keep a consistent professional relationship with all clients. Building a business and becoming a professional really takes time to learn who you are and what kind of foundation do you want to have. I’ve learned over the years that your business only grows when you pour into it and when you stay consistent. I would love for people to know that Blink Twice is warm welcoming business that is here to make your vision come true.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to Fenton in Cary, NC. Fenton is a new shopping center that offers gelato, drinks, food, shopping, and even a movie theater. In my opinion, I believe the best things to experience are the things you do for the first time. Those experiences you have for the first time are always the ones you never forget like ice skating for the first time or trying a new cuisine.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to dedicate this shoutout to my GOD, my family, and my partner. I want to thank GOD for giving me this vision and for never leaving my side in times where business wasn’t in a ideal situation. GOD is my business partner. Secondly, my family has always been there to support me and allow me to use them as tester on a new project. My siblings were always pushing me to be better and to have courage to really push my business into things I never thought was possible. My parents were always there to share my work and encourage me to never give up. Niece and nephew are on stand by whenever I need any extra help. I want to also thank my partner for teaching me new softwares and tools to evolve my business. Their belief in me is what keeps me going and allows me to keep striving to make this business better each and everyday.
