We had the good fortune of connecting with Shpendi & Deanna LLuhani and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shpendi & Deanna, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
We have found that in our journey to success, it is nearly impossible to have a one size fits all success factor. However, our why is what motivates us every day to get up and press on. We have a mission to help people and do everything we can to make this world at least 1% better. Whether that is through chiropractic care, education, finding resources for them, showing them some love, or just listening. If we are making a difference in someone else’s life, that’s pretty successful in our book.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Our business was a dream years in the making since we met in chiropractic school. We would move to Colorado from Dallas, open the best family chiropractic office and live a happy health life as successful business owners. Anyone who has attempted to live out a dream might understand that it takes more time and patience. Plans changed and we ended up practicing in Kansas with an amazing team of doctors for 2 years. Once, we had some experience under our belt, we decided to finally move to the beautiful Loveland, CO in February of 2020. We didn’t however pick the best year to open a business, which was the middle of the pandemic in 2020! We opened our doors March 23rd, and then had to shut down 3 days later due to Covid restrictions. Despite the hardships though, we had each other and were doing this as a team. With our fire burning strong, we re-opened our doors on May 1st and truly began our practice. This came with its own challenges because as you may guess, it’s not easy to market and let people know that you just opened a business when you can’t go out and meet people due to lockdowns. For us, this was the hardest part because we were ready to help and serve our new community, but we had extreme limitations. Instead, we had to throw out most of our business and marketing plan, cancel our events and navigate new avenues. We quickly had to become social media experts, joined many networking groups and tested our creativity on how to become part of a brand new community. To say the least, it has been such an adventure and we have learned so much in just 1 year, but we are still writing our story and loving every moment of it. This dream is too big to give anything less!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would do so many things! Hike/ Bike/Kayak at Horsetooth reservoir , Devil’s backbone, Drive up to Estes through the beautiful mountains Eat at AKA kitchen for their amazing brunch and Rockcoast Brewery . Starting at Backyard tap we would do a brewery crawl (love our craft brews), Walk around Benson Sculpture Park, Depending on the friend that is coming, we would throw in a fourteener We would walk around downtown when the lights come on, if there is some live music the definitely listen in Probably spend a day in Fort Collins

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
We would love to dedicate our shoutout to our support system and our Northern Colorado Community.
