We had the good fortune of connecting with Sliggity Slime and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sliggity, why did you pursue a creative career?
I pursued an artistic creative career because I’ve always been talented in arts since a child but as I grew older my passion grew even stronger.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m most proud of getting signed to a model agency (Chez Les Mannequins). I got to where I’m at by never giving up on my dream and continuing to pursue my dream. It’s definitely not easy but if you really have a dream every obstacle is worth the road to success. The lessons I’ve learned is to keep your ideas to yourself, keep a consistent work ethic, stay active in community services or good content creation on social media, and never change for worth for a price your not. I just want the world to know I want everybody to win and stay woke.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Some things I like to do with my loved ones is go to Soho and go shopping, eat a restaurants in NYC, and enjoy each others company.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Shoutouts to my family, God of course, and the haters that motivate me to keep going.
