We had the good fortune of connecting with SuperStar Kay and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi SuperStar, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I am a complete risk taker. You can’t move through life scared and worried about the “what ifs”. Any one who’s ever become anything did so by taking risks.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
SuperStar Kay has been in the music industry for 21 years. He started very young as a producer and has grown to become a multi-talented recording artist and engineer. While the journey hasn’t been at all easy; there have been a lot of amazing moments along the way. Music has allowed him to perform all over the U.S. and come into contact with some awesome individuals. One thing SuperStar Kay has learned is that no matter how hard you try to walk away from your passion, it will always call you back. After a 1 year hiatus he is currently working on his next installment of his NightFall series, which will release this fall and there are talks of an upcoming album..

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Although he doesn’t venture out too much socially; he would suggest ordering Genna Rae Wings & More. Hands down the best chicken wings in the Denver area!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Shout out to literally everyone who has supported my music career in any way possible. I just celebrated 21 years in the industry and it has been both a trying and rewarding journey. Without the support of my listeners, fellow artists, various venues and promoters, media outlets, and most importantly my family and close friends who have stuck with me over the years none of what I do would be possible.
