We had the good fortune of connecting with Swank Sinatra and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Swank, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Generational wealth was the thought process behind starting my own business. Observing the landscape of what the future of business & job career choices would be like the entrepreneur route looked favorable. After serving six years in the military I knew that applying the same discipline along with common sense, college education that I could run a successful business that could benefit not only myself.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art consists of personal fashion choices , visuals, entertainment & audio recordings of situations I encountered in my life over Hip Hop/Rap instrumentals. What sets myself apart from others is my work ethic & consistency as well as my ability to navigate through the music industry while being professional. I’m most proud & excited about my new EP that I recorded & mixed myself that releases 11/27/20 titled “ In My Lifetime”. Making a decision to become a recording artist in 2017 along with dedicating myself to learning the music business has brought me here today professionally. It wasn’t easy getting to where I’m at today. There were moments of doubt & moments of triumph. The moments of doubt made me stronger than my triumphs & staying positive helped me overcome challenges. “Something you love shouldn’t drive you crazy” is something that I learned along the way. My love for recording music should only bring me happiness because I’m doing what I love for a living. The world should know that I’m a positive individual who creates top tier art & will continue to do so for a long time with a positive influence on the culture we exist in.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I had to recommend a best friend of mine on where to go in the city during a week long trip the Illegal Pete’s restaurant would be the first recommendation. For drinks & a nice vibe on a rooftop at night I would recommend the Church nightclub. The selfie museum is the most fun, interesting place to check out if you’re into art as well in my view.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
James McBeth has been a positive influence in my life. We met during my time served in the military. His encouragement, support & mentorship has been instrumental in my story. My daughter as well has been a major support in my story. Having a purpose in life is important & my daughter gives me that.
