We had the good fortune of connecting with Taylor Cronin and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Taylor, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I started my own business to potentially create personal and financial freedom for my family. I decided to just go for it after having my son. I knew towards the end of my maternity leave that I did not want to go back to working in the hospital, it was physical and mentally draining me and I needed something more in my life. The idea for Gracee May Aesthetics has always been in the back of my mind, and it was always a dream of mine to start something of my own. I figured there is no better time to just go for it than now!
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My name is Taylor, I’m an aesthetic nurse injector and the owner of Gracee May Aesthetics LLC. Gracee May Aesthetics Is a concierge service delivering personalized anti-aging treatments to you wherever you are in the Denver Metro area, making your skincare journey beautifully convenient. I created this business to help others regain the confidence they deserve, while being in the comfort of their own home, leaving them refreshed at their doorstep.
Growing up I was always a goal-driven person. I started ice skating when I was 4 years old and competed until I was 22. I always seeked challenge and wanted to be the best at whatever I set my mind to. I grew my skating career quickly and created a name for myself representing Team USA for synchronized skating and then skating for the University of Illinois. I knew there was a large gap to fill in my life once I decided to retire from the skating world. I feel blessed to have found nursing. The operating room gave me the constant challenge and purpose-driven work that I have always strived for while allowing me to be a part of a team. This, I believe, is what sets me apart. I have been chasing success since a very young age and do not plan to stop anytime soon. Gracee May Aesthetics gives me the opportunity to continuously build my success while creating a name for myself in aesthetics and nursing.
I am so excited to be on this journey and have the opportunity to create a life for my family that we have always dreamed of while helping others to look and feel their best.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Colorado is hands down one of the most beautiful places in the world with endless adventure. One of my favorite places to take friends and family to really showcase Colorado’s beauty is St. Mary’s Glacier near Idaho Springs. This quick hike invites you into a world of captivating beauty and serenity, which is what I want everyone to experience when they come to Colorado. Of course this day would have to start with Fika Coffee in Downtown Parker (hands down the best coffee I have ever had) and follow the hike with our favorite local brewery + pizza, Downhill Brewing!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have to foremost recognize my mother and father, they have been the biggest supporters of my dreams since the beginning. They taught me the value of hardwork and gave me the confidence to pursue a career in nursing. My husband is my rock-solid foundation and my constant source of encouragement. I am so blessed that he had the confidence in me to take this risk that allowed me stay home with my son, while finishing my Doctorate and creating my dream business. And of course, my son, Wyatt, is the motivator behind my strong drive for success.
