We had the good fortune of connecting with Taylor Liberatore and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Taylor, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was, time is all you have why waste it being unhappy? You are a boss and you already have the skill set. I wanted people to get to know me for me. I also thought a lot about my future and what is important to me.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’m proud of myself for taking the steps to create my business ROLYAT Made Curls in the first place. To be able to understand my calling and use my skills to make people happy are few of many things that sets me apart! Curly hair is like a blank canvas to me. I’m able to express how I’m feeling or thinking in someone’s hair. Before clients even sit down in my salon chair I’ve already envisioned what they’ll look like before they leave! Being able to go against all odds and start a Curly Specific Hair salon in the middle of a pandemic speaks volumes! I feel this was meant for me. For the most part it has been easy because I get to do what I love every single day if that’s truly what I want to do, I have the freedom to choose when I start my day and when I end my day. I get to choose who sits in my chair and I get to make people feel confident and beautiful year round. Challenges I’ve faced mostly are leading with my heart when making decisions lol that’s about it! And taxes! Haha

I want the world to know that I am here for curly individuals who struggle to know the basics about curly hair!
I have the passion to teach one curly client at a time and I am here for all of your curly hair needs! I pride myself in knowing I have the skills to do any and every type of curly hair in the world. It is my true craft and calling.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My little city of Denver there’s so many things to do especially if your the outdoor adventuring type. My all time favorite place to eat is Texas Roadhouse. In the heart of downtown you’ll find great places to drink because there are bars galore. A lot of people from Denver like to bar hop that isn’t particularly my scene. We have museums and arcade places like Dave n busters or Boondocks. We are now home to a place called Meow Wolf and we have a selfie museum. I’d also recommend checking out Red Rocks or the Alpine Slides if the weather is nice and Pindustry. I love bowling and occasionally getting on my roller skates.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My amazing clients for believing in my dream and supporting me!
