My name is Temitope Ogunseitan Ayobami, popularly known as TP4STYLE. I am visual Artist who express art through fashion by curating collections from upcycled and preloved items sourced from vintage and charity stores to make bold fashion statement, As an art/fashion stylist, I aim to bridge the gap between different socio-economic classes by reimagining and styling pieces from charity shops to rival luxury brands. I believe “IT DOESN’T TAKE THE WHOLE WORLD TO LOOK EXPENSIVE”; with a positive mindset, anyone can achieve their desired style.
My unique style defies mainstream opinions by utilizing upcycled and preloved garments, authentic fabrics, and distinctive designs, resulting in one-of-a-kind of collections. Each piece is finished with artistic flair and accessorized to perfection, making my creations easily recognizable.
I take pride in my creative journey, impacting young creatives in Africa by offering growth opportunities through my creative hub, DRIPPCITY NG. Starting in 2010 by sourcing thrift and preloved clothes from local markets in Lagos,(kATANGUA,ASWANI,YABA ) Nigeria, due to financial constraints, I transformed these pieces into eye-catching styles that caught the attention of fashion influencers and celebrities, ultimately leading to the success of DRIPPCITY in 2019.
Overcoming challenges through faith in my vision, I’ve learned the importance of consistency, community building, and supporting other’s growth. A free spirit and positive mindset have guided me, alongside embracing failures as learning experiences. Through TP4creative, I have inspired and empowered young talents to realize their creative potentials, emphasizing that creating opportunities and making a difference doesn’t require vast resources but determination and passion.
