We had the good fortune of connecting with The rainbow’ Factory and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi The rainbow’, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
We noticed there wasn’t many places for POC in the LGBT community of Denver. We wanted to bring some thing more of the culture hip-hop, and like-minded people.

What should our readers know about your business?
My team is an urban LGBTQ event coordinator. We are here to bring hip-hop culture into the LGBTQ establishments and other members together as well as allies and supporters. We aim to create a safe space that is inclusive And welcoming to everyone.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Let’s say this is the 4th week of the month.

Monday- we would hit the 16th street mall for a little shopping then head over to tight end for some drinks and food.

Tuesday- we would go have breakfast at waffle brothers, Then later on head over to Zeppelin’s for taco Tuesday.

Wednesday- we would go to roo bar for some wings and the head over to Charlie’s for some drinks and great drag performances.

Thursday- Of course hit tracks with of course dj blque girl rocking the hip hop side.

Friday- we would dine in at ky ramen just before The Rainbow Factory event starts at Lucid. After dinner head up stairs for The Rainbow Factory event for the night.

Saturday- We would grab some bbq chicken on the village of Havana. After head over to Vybe for Krystal Towers Good trouble show.

Sunday- we would head back over to lucid for The Rainbow Factory day party until 10pm, after that head over to Xbar and end the night with the Kai Lee Mykels show.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
