We had the good fortune of connecting with The Stella Luna and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi The Stella Luna, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
I would say that my consistency and professionalism are large factors in my current level of success. Consistency creates the container of trust with people. When I am consistent in my actions and words it leaves people feeling that they can trust me to show up and a do a good job, which I do. That then helps drive more work and opportunities my way. I think my professionalism falls under my consistency, or maybe vice versa. I communicate clearly and in a timely manner, I do my best to never miss a deadline, and I make a point to behave with the highest intention of good in the spaces that I occupy.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a -newly full time- professional Burlesque artist, Belly dancer, model, show producer, and movement teacher. I made the big leap in March of this year (2025) from part time day job/part time artist to full time artist. It’s a thrilling jump to make, there is a lot of faith and “fuck it” involved in this kind of a decision.

It has been a long and surprising journey to get to this place in my life. I kind of ended up here by accident, in many ways I had no intention of my life being shaped this way. And yet, experiences kept presenting themselves and I kept saying yes. Now I find myself diving face first into artistic entrepreneurship. As with most everyone who follows the creative and entrepreneurial path, there has been many challenges. There will continue to be new challenges as I go forward. I think a lot of where I am is a willingness to keep showing up to all of the experiences and challenges that come my way.

I offer an array of classes and workshops for all skill levels around the Denver Metro area, I have a new series of burlesque classes up on Raqs Online, and in time I will create my own online platform. I currently produce 2 Burlesque shows at The Clocktower Cabaret where I perform frequently. You can also find me performing in other venues such as Meow Wolf and smaller local places around Denver. Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well being in Colorado the mountains and many hot springs would be a necessity of course. Vally View, Orvis, and Indian Hot Springs are all personal favorites. We would make our way to one or all three of my favorite Thai Places. Thai Pan and Thai Pot on Colorado blvd and Thai Gold in Golden. We would likely find fun new coffee shops and go for walks. If they enjoy local performance art, I would of course take them out for a night on the town to catch a Burlesque show!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I am where I am due to the grace and support of others without a doubt. I am deeply blessed to have a long list of supportive people and places that have been wildly impactful on my life path.

I am lucky enough to have parents, a loving partner, and an incredible network of friends and community who support everything that I do.

It will be a very long list that I will save for another time, but, to any of my people who. may see this, thank you deeply for every ounce of support you’ve ever sent my way.
