We had the good fortune of connecting with The Vantage Team and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi The Vantage Team, why did you pursue a creative career?
Each of us came into the beauty industry on our own path, but what brings us together at Vantage Salon is a shared love for creating—and the belief that our salon space can be about so much more than hair.

These days, staying relevant as a small salon business means wearing a lot of hats—photography, hosting events, education, content creation…the list goes on. We see each of these not as tasks, but as creative opportunities and meaningful ways to connect with people. Over time, these connections grow.

People sit in our chairs and share their lives with us. There’s something special about witnessing someone’s human experience while also helping them feel beautiful. That’s the part that makes us feel most alive, and is why we do this work.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
The salon industry is such a unique blend of creativity, technical skill, and client care. We mentioned before that the salon can about more than just hair—and how much we value that. But the experiences we provide must first be built on strong foundations of knowledge and technical skills, so we can deliver the results our clients are looking for.

We’re helping people express who they are through their personal image, and in a constantly evolving industry—where new products, techniques, and trends show up daily. One of the biggest things that sets Vantage apart is our commitment to educating ourselves, and our clients with up-to-date and relevant information so we can offer services and recommendations that align with each person’s lifestyle, goals, and long-term hair health—not just the latest trends.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When our best friends come to town, we use it as an excuse to visit (and shoutout) some of our favorite Wheat Ridge spots!

We’d get a workout in at Spenga or Feed Your Soul Fitness, then swing by Vantage for blowouts (because obviously).

Coffee at Stylus & Crate, followed by a gentle adjustment at Iselin Chiropractic and a check-in at Omega Functional Health. We’d grab a glass of wine at Wolf & Wildflower and food at Clancy’s or Colorado Plus—or both!

We’d also swing by Clear Creek Makerspace and check out the Explore44 corridor, because there are so many local treasures, we couldn’t possibly mention them all!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The success of Vantage has always been rooted in community. We never miss an opportunity to shoutout the love, support, and encouragement that surrounds us—it’s the reason we’re able to do what we do.

Behind the scenes, we are always working on how we can lead with integrity, bring intention to our work, and support one another’s growth—while showing up meaningfully for the people who walk through our doors. The support of our clients, other local businesses, and our larger community plays a big part in that.

When we read Vantage reviews, the things that come up most often are how seen, informed, and confident people feel after their visit—that is how we measure success, and we don’t take it for granted. We are deeply grateful.
