We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Good and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tiffany, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
I have often fallen into the trap of doubting myself internally. ‘I need to work harder’, ‘I need to be more motivated.’
The truth is, I do work hard, and I am motivated. But can I believe in myself? Can I believe I will achieve what I have put my mind to?
You have to expect things of yourself before you can do them – Michael Jordan
What should our readers know about your business?
I left home for the first time when I was 17. That really set the stage for the next couple of years as I struggled to find my place in the world as a young adult. I had a background in early education, so I started working as a career nanny before I even graduated high school. The community I grew up in, did not encourage further education, and I was content to pour into the young impressionable lives I worked with. I moved from state to state, searching to find a place to call home and found it, here in Colorado Springs.
Like many working Americans, March of 2020 drastically changed the course of my professional life. I was forced to take a good look at what I envisioned for my future, and knew the time to make a change was coming. I loved what I was doing, but deep down, I knew this didn’t align with what I wanted for my future.
I started working with a family that ran a real estate investment company, and as their business grew, I was given an opportunity to gain hands-on experience as the office manager. I loved what I learned, and was so excited to be able to help clients experience the power of real estate. Along side of my team, I learned the intricacies and strategies behind pushing deals through even when facing roadblocks.
I started real estate school, while working full time, and became a licensed Realtor the next year. I knew finding a brokerage that would truly set me up to win would be key for my success. I interviewed brokerages all over the city, and finally hung my license with Sellstate Alliance Realty. I knew I was coming into the industry at a bad time. Rising interest rates combined with already high prices and clients were wary, but I was confident in my knowledge and strategies. I knew the most important thing was the foundation I would build for the rest of my business to grow. I immediately started focusing on collaborating with local business owners and educating clients. I took every opportunity offered to me, no matter how big or small. I have built my business around being a problem solver. Because of my background in creative financing, I am able to strategize with my clients to get the best possible outcome, no matter the market.
I understand how scary and overwhelming it can be to start the buying or selling process, but you don’t have to face it alone. Together, armed with experience and market knowledge, we will create a game plan to get what you need.
I have built my business on integrity, dedication, and innovation, and I have found my passion in finding the right deals for my clients. I am continuing to build my brand around collaborating and promoting other entrepreneurs and look forward to building a community together! I am so excited for what the future holds for me and my LLC.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I am a huge caffeine head, so coffee is a MUST. Some of my favorite coffee shops here in Colorado Springs are, Third Space Coffee, Humble Coffee drive thru, Kairos Coffee House, and The Coffee Exchange. Coyotes Coffee Den in Penrose is my number 1. For food, we’d definitely have to hit up Omelette Parlor for brunch, (Denver Biscuit Company is a close second). Los Vela #2 , Skirted Heifer, Street Car 520, Coati, and Slice 420 are excellent choices for dinner. If you want a bar with an amazing ambiance, Allusion is a speakeasy with different themes that change every quarter.
I love taking people south to Canon City to visit the Royal Gorge. Another great day trip is Westcliffe to visit Bishops castle and explore the darling little town. Of course we can’t forget about Garden of the Gods, talk about a great place to enjoy your coffee! We can spend a day in Manitou Springs, exploring the many shops and restaurants. My favorite museum is in Old Colorado City, Magic Town, where the works of Michael Garmen are featured.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Special thanks to my fiance, for encouraging me when I wanted to quit, for keeping me fully caffeinated, and supporting all of my hopes, dreams, and aspirations. This is only the beginning.
