Hi Toyin, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Make you remember the why. I started my business Be Original Rejected By Man, Accepted By God! because it was a testimony of me following the calling & not the crowd. In the midst of me following the calling I was rejected. During the time of rejection it was an opportunity for me to develop personal growth & self reflection.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a Licensed Social Worker, family oriented, mentor, life coach and a God-fearing woman. I obtained my Masters degree in Social Work from University of St. Francis & Bachelor’s degree of Social Work from Lewis University. I have such compassion, patience and empathy for individuals in my community.

For one I am apart of the LGBTQ community. I believe in confidently walking into your purpose. I use my brand to inspire, encourage and motivate people that you are enough.

I am a powerful woman that gives endless acres of love & encouragement within my brand just for you to be your ORIGINAL self.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Chicago brunches are where it’s at. There is spot call Fremont that has great food, drinks, and music.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to shoutout my mom Gloria who has pushed me, prayed for me & constantly told me how proud she was of me. I want to thank my sister Titi who has supported me financially throughout this journey. She paid full price for everything never asked for any discount & never wanted anything for free. I want to shoutout my older sister who have supported me and invested.
