We had the good fortune of connecting with TravelNow..club and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi TravelNow..club, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
There was a time in my life when I worked nearly 80 hours a week. Financially, I was successful, but I had very little time to enjoy what I had earned. I rarely had the opportunity to appreciate my beachfront home, spent too little time with my family, and often had to shorten—or completely cancel—trips to places I had always dreamed of visiting.

Everything changed after a health scare forced me to reevaluate my priorities. I realized that success means very little if you don’t have the time or health to enjoy it. One of the most rewarding decisions I made during that period was purchasing a travel agency.

Today, I have the freedom to travel and spend meaningful time exploring the world. Whether it’s planning a budget-friendly getaway or a luxury extended vacation, I enjoy helping family, friends, and clients turn their travel dreams into reality. What began as a personal passion has grown into a boutique travel agency through which I plan multiple trips each year and help families create memorable travel experiences that align with their goals, interests, and lifestyles.

Achieving a healthier work-life balance has allowed me to maintain the quality of life while building a career that genuinely brings me joy. I am living proof of Heather Schuck’s words: “You will never be truly satisfied by work until you are satisfied by life.” For me, those words couldn’t be more true.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
TravelNow.club was created to fill an underserved niche in travel planning by providing a complete, customized travel experience. While many travelers can book flights and hotels online, we manage every aspect of a trip—from airport parking, airfare, accommodations or cruises, and ground transportation to excursions, dining recommendations, and more.

What sets us apart is that we not only plan the details but also help protect them. We offer annual travel insurance options that can provide coverage for trip cancellations, medical emergencies, lost luggage, rental car damage, and other unexpected events across all of your trips throughout the year. Many clients also have access to travel concierge services that can assist with dinner reservations, local recommendations, and special requests while traveling.

As the owner of multiple businesses, I can confidently say that owning a travel agency has been one of the most rewarding experiences. My passion for travel and trip planning made it a natural fit. The biggest challenge came during the COVID-19 pandemic, when many of my clients had to cancel or postpone their travel plans. That experience reinforced the importance of flexibility, expert guidance, and personalized service in helping travelers navigate unexpected situations with confidence.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The first step is to profile the traveler and understand their interests, preferences, and expectations. My friend enjoys intellectually stimulating experiences, such as book talks, guest speakers, performances, gardens, the mountains and community events. She also values healthy dining options and has a travel budget of approximately $1,000 spending budget that does not include air or lodging.

Based on her interests and lifestyle, I recommend the following itinerary to create a meaningful and enjoyable experience tailored specifically to her tastes.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
More importantly, Cheryl inspired my love of travel and encouraged me to explore new countries, cultures, and experiences. Her enthusiasm for discovering the world left a lasting impact on me, and I miss her every day.

Beyond her passion for travel, Cheryl was deeply committed to serving others. She dedicated countless hours to community organizations that supported children and families, always striving to make a positive difference in the lives of those around her.

In her memory, one of my goals is to make travel more affordable and accessible for families with young children. I want to help them explore the world, create lasting memories together, and experience the same sense of wonder and connection that Cheryl cherished throughout her life.
