We had the good fortune of connecting with Troy Warwick and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Troy, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
From early on in my life I was always drawn to the creative side of expression as I just always found more joy and fulfillment in that space. I also consider myself pretty technical in regards to learning skills to help perform my creative tasks better, but as for my career, which began in the music realm in my younger twenties, it slowly opened up into the photography and videography arts in my thirties.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I own and operate a creative Photography & Videography production agency serving the greater Denver area, Warwick Adventures. One of the things that sets this business apart from others in this area is that I enjoy exploring what is unique about each client and being able to highlight that quality in the work I produce is always something that they recognize and appreciate. I also really enjoy adding production value through either bringing in Aerial footage or providing livestreaming services for their event. I’ve learned that in this business, you have to solve problems. If you want to bring value to someone, then solve a need, or a problem others could or would not.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If I was going to plan an amazing week for my guests here in Colorado I would prepare a week filled with outdoor-focused activities and of course mix in a lot of pickleball at the local spots! I’d plan a few mountain adventures either to Estes Park, to explore some of my favorite RMNP hikes, or Crested Butte to really get a good look at the beauty of the mountains and scenic outdoors this state has to offer. Visiting locally owned restaurants in the small mountain towns is always an amazing experience. I am also slightly obsessed with playing pickleball, so they would be subjected to having to participate in a few competitive matches of that as well 🙂

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I know this is somewhat boring or cliche but I owe a lot of who I am today to the love and support I had from my parents as a child and adolescent. They always encouraged me to pursue whatever it was that made me happy and also to work hard towards those goals. I had the privilege of witnessing how important hard work was as they began to see success in their own life during my teenage years, after many years of struggling to make ends meet. It was inspiring to me and I began to understand what it would take for me to one day experience that for myself and my future family.
