We had the good fortune of connecting with VanN Demand and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi VanN, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I knew I wanted to entertain. I felt like I was born to do so. It just so happens that I entertain with my music. It’s never been about the money for me, I seriously wanted to help others and put them in better positions to do better and showcase their talents. That’s what Level UP Entertainment is all about. “Leveling up” yourself and having a drive and determination to do better in more ways than one. I put up the money in order to do so, signed a couple of acts, and the rest is history! I’m even getting ready to go on tour all around the south part of the USA. Dreams do come true!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Just take one listen and you’ll understand what sets me apart. A big part of it is my voice. I decided to start rapping because my voice is very very distinct and after one gets accustomed to hearing it on these tracks, you’ll know every time you hear it. Another talent that sets me apart is how fast I can literally be. I am one of, if not the fastest rapper at least within the state of Colorado and it shows. No, I don’t go speed demon on every track, but I don’t need to. But I do have plenty of tracks where you can hear me spazzing out doing so. I do slow it down a lot just so the common ear can hear, understand, and potentially sing along to my songs in their every day life. That’s one of the major breaking points I’ve been able to acquire while taking part within the rap game. Another is my fashion. My style of clothing and colors also really sets me apart from everyone else. I’m VERY hard to miss while out in public or rocking a show!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well here in Pueblo, the Riverwalk is where it’s at. There’s so many shops, and restaurants, and things to see, it makes for a great tourist trap when visiting. If you make it down to Pueblo, Colorado, that’s definitively a place you’d have to visit!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My fans! Big special shoutout to them for honestly rocking with me and believing in me for all this time! I call my fans and supporters “Vanndals” which is a play off of my own name and it stuck. Without them I wouldn’t be fully where I am at today with my music and the label! Y’all are the real MVPs!
