We had the good fortune of connecting with Wassi Reed and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Wassi, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was strictly win win win. I mean I was literally looking in any direction to be better than any other competition and constantly looking forways to make my brand stand out from others. I never doubt it myself I always believed I could do it.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
The thing that I’m proud of most is how far I’ve came and how much more educated I am on the business side of things. Some of the things that got me to where I am today or paying attention and wanting to learn. Anytime I came across something associated with my career I would want to know more about it I will study into things. And not only study ways to succeed but study ways that will keep you from succeeding. It wasn’t easy to become successful in my field I mean I really had to work long hours long days most the time longer than a 9-5. Took a lot of traveling a lot of planning as far as booking flights, hotels, ect . And don’t get me wrong there were also times where I wanted to give up and felt like I couldn’t do it but God always gave me that boost I needed to keep going so I did. Some of the lessons I’ve learned along the way is to never give up if you want something go get it no matter how hard you have to work to get it go for it you can do it. And one thing the world should know about me and my brand is that we are 100% authentic, we are growing everyday, and are stuck on the road to success. KRUNCBOI ENTERTAINMENT

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorite spot in the city of Tupelo, Mississippi would be downtown tupelo. There’s always something fun festive going on for the community andthey also offer great places to dine in.. One of my favorites spots would be Fair Park Grill of Main Street. They have everything you can think of to eat from fried mushrooms to big boy juicy steaks. So if you’re ever in Tupelo I would highly recommend you make that stop..

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
