We had the good fortune of connecting with Wild Social Micro Weddings and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Wild Social Micro Weddings, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Wild Social was born in January, pre-covid! We’re both full time teachers and met in the copy room of our school! We bonded over teacher burnout and entrepreneurship goals! After tons of brainstorming we saw a need for something different in the Denver wedding market. Cassie, who was already in the wedding industry, saw couples struggling to keep their wedding budgets under $30K. Mallory was feeling frustrated with the debt accumulated from planning her traditional wedding a few years prior, which was now holding her and her husband back from buying their first home. We started doing our research on micro weddings and after a million bad biz ideas this one finally felt right! So here we are creating debt free, stress free, cute AF, intimate, all- inclusive wedding packages for under $15,000 and we’re never looking back!
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We provide our clients with a unique take on the traditional wedding. We know that wedding planning can be incredibly stressful and once you’re in the process, you can start to feel overwhelmed and lose the joy leading up to your wedding. This is where we come in! We offer all-inclusive micro wedding packages as well as intimate pop-up wedding packages for a fraction of the cost of a standard wedding. We provide our couples with everything they need, down to the centerpieces! Wild Social Micro Weddings is for couples looking to enjoy their special day without all of the unnecessary stress WITH money left over in the bank for a bomb honeymoon or substantial down payment on their dream house!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Denver is one of the most beautiful cities in the country! There is SO much to do, from the nightlife of the city to the gorgeous mountains there is never a dull moment in the mile high! Our biggest recommendations would be biking through Tennyson St. and stopping at all of the local stores and restaurants, enjoying a few cocktails and stopping for ice cream at High Point Creamery! Do not forget to grab some coffee at Allegro and biscuits at Denver Biscuit Company! We also love the Garden at The Ramble Hotel and tacos across the street from Los Chingones! Once you’ve explored the city it’s time to move up into the mountains! Mt. Evans for the most insane views and scenic drive. After spending the day in nature, end your night with a trip to Blackhawk and hit the casinos! SO fun, It’s no Vegas, but it’s quite the experience!
