Meet Yadira Silva | Sustainable, organic, artistic, handcrafted Coconut Seed Pipes

We had the good fortune of connecting with Yadira Silva and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Yadira, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
When I think of Coconut Seed Pipes, I thought I could make a positive impact both in United States landfill and my beloved Ecuadorians. This product is a Seed, handcrafted by Ecuadorian Artist. These pipes are not dangerous neither to the environment or the humans. I want them to be recognized as an Icon for Sustainable smoking pipes. Also, I want to return 10% of my profit back to the Ecuador community as Grants to pay for School tuitions.

What should our readers know about your business?
In December 2017, I was thinking on all the cannabis that is being sold and how they smoke it. I said “that is to much pollution for the land field, I conclude by saying “for every coconut seed pipe that a customer choose instead of a glass pipe, the less animals will die for ingesting coconut seeds instead of chewing glass or plastics. We are all aware of the trash found on streets, we know that trash some way or another it gets to the floor. That’s when I realized that I have to insist on using more ecological artefacts to smoke cannabis. At the same time, the National Cannabis Industry Association was educating members about sustainability. It was very hard to make people see my vision. I believe that with time people would understand the impact we will make to the habitat of the animal that lives in the cities.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I have lived in Colorado since August 1999. I love Colorado for its season. I love Garden of the Gods, it is a public park located in Colorado Springs. I can walk, explore, and relax on the hill! Also, I like La Rumba Club, because it is a fun and secure Latino Music Dancing Club. I also recommend Mile High Flea Market, because it is fun to watch life events, drink beer; it is interesting to walk by and see innovated products and the faces of faith of those who sell used artefacts. Plus, I like to visit the Marijuana Mansion, you can try new products, and experience the feeling of being inside of a Mansion!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I will like to extend the shoutout to my family for showing me that education, persistence, and collaboration get you to achieve your dreams, and giving to those in need warms your spirit. Also, to my aunt Bertha Cerda, she imports the Coconut Seed Pipes and made me aware of them. The artists who handcraft the pipes, making them so special and attractive to the public. Last, I want to thanks to my first 3 clients Kaya Events, Sensi Magazine, and Bridge West CPAs for ordering Coconut Seed pipes with their Logo handcrafted on them.
