We had the good fortune of connecting with Yvonne Randolph and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Yvonne, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
When I think of the word “risk” or “risky” I perceive it to be an action that is a bit outside my normal decision making; which may be what is needed to provide a different result. I learned that every moment, product, relationship, that went from good to great involved an element of risk on my part. In most cases I believe risk to be healthy. While I am in the process of expanding my career, risk have maintained a healthy perspective on how to create a life or career of value.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a music producer/performing artist by the name of TOBI GHOST. I am owner, fashion designer, and seamstress for ORIGINAL GIRL FRIEND. I am a photographer. I am a videographer. I am a choreographer. I am a student. I am a teacher; the list goes on.

I am who I am authentically. Regardless the circumstances, I stay true to who I am and who I am not. I believe this mindset and method is what empowers me to maintain my individuality while contributing to the collective.

I am thankful to have manifested personal milestones in addition to a few surprising achievements along the way. I am thankful to be triumphant over seasonal trials to become the best version of me I can be.

I am excited to become the greatest artist, business owner, friend, and family member I can be while inspiring as many individuals as I can to do the same.

A whole lot of DRIVE, self-discipline, artistic integrity, accepting corrections, accountability, remaining open to learning more, building authentic relationships, and following through with a positive attitude. Putting these into practice have not always been easy however, it made the process bearable.

SOOOO many valuable lessons ahahah we might have to do a follow up! All jokes aside, the lessons have been learned and the wisdom have been applied.

My story is still unfolding but what I do know thus far is that is it a remarkable story to say the least. I will continue to share my story in my music, through the designs I create with ORIGINAL GIRL FRIEND, and being what I desire to see in the world.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Alright first; I would let them rest because there will be lots to do! LOL! We got to start the day off with STARBUCKS specifically the one located at ACADEMY and FLINTRIDGE. The baristas there are FIRE. Then we would go shopping at ECLECTIC CO specifically the one located in Downtown Colorado Springs then maybe slide to the location in Old Colorado City. Next we would go to lunch at COATI’s grab some crab fries at Luchal’s hopefully catch a live art show. For a fun time we would go to Axe and Oak, maybe play some cornhole while listening to live music. For a relaxing vibe, we would have a sunset picnic at Garden of The Gods. My Best Friend is a phenomenal writer so we would DEFINITELY have to squeeze in a visit to Poor Richard’s to peep a few books!

The Most High. ALL my Loved Ones, who loved on me throughout the journey thus far.

ALL my Mentors who poured into me and ensured to develop the greatness they saw in me.
