We had the good fortune of connecting with Zhanna Bayerman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Zhanna, what do you attribute your success to?
I think the reason for the success of my brand is my passion for music from the young age of 5. Before I went to bed every night I would daydream about singing and dance on stage this is what initially lead to pursing music professionally. My mother recognized my passion and secured me a singing audition with the director of the school at a prestige new music school in Minsk, Belarus. I was one of the few students admitted to the music program for 1o years. Exposure and my formal education from a young age are what make teaching and composing music second nature to me.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
From a young age I had the ability to create full music compositions from the musings of my daydreams. I always have felt so much love and this allowed me to write romantic musical pieces very easily. What inspired me to start my business was over the years I created my own personal method combined with my patience that empowered others to learn, love, and feel music. Starting my own music school was actually easier than I thought. My school is not only intended for people wanting to learn to play music but also to develop am appreciation of music. I am happy doing group classes or private classes depending on the students preferred class style. Even during the pandemic I have also successfully offered virtual classes including music theory and composing in a group setting, or private one on one classes. My school has an international student base which is very social and has become its own community. Through out the year I often host social gatherings which is very important to the success of my students.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
As a musician I would at some point have my friend go to a Colorado Symphony performance and/or a performance at the Performing Arts Center. The arts program in Denver is one of the best in the nation. I would highly suggest a trip up to the famous resorts of Colorado either Vail or Aspen since they are world renown, There are so many fun activities to do at any of the resorts like skiing, ice skating and great dining. Cherry Creek Shopping Center has some of the best shopping so i would suggest give themselves an afternoon for shopping and finish with dinner at one the great restaurants in Cherry Creek North, one of my favorites is Le Bilboquet.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
About 15 years ago I started teaching a piano group and offering private lessons at Harmony Road Music School . This school has 130 schools around the world. They teach a European based system where kids start to learn music from 18 months of age to adults. I was teaching all ages and every lesson for me felt like a , I was delighted and passionate about this position. we held many bi annual recitals where students and teachers would perform together and this inspired me further to perform and share my own music. Its was very touching to see the kids confidently play the piano with two hands on stage in front of everyone. Everyone loved dressing up and showing their skills in front of 300 to 400 family and friends. Adult students who worked so hard at their regular jobs were happy and relaxed while playing their music. These piano lessons were a weekly hour escape from the daily responsibilities of washing dishes, cleaning and worrying about bills. Adult students were amazing performers and their partners, families and own kids was very proud to see mom or dad on stage. I think it is a wonderful magical thing to learn music that touch our souls with sound of melodies, tunes, and different rhythm . Music removes all the dust of life and pain away. Music is a treasure of love. I think there are no limitations of age and no restrictions on all walks of life to create or feel music. What a beautiful experience when you are able to sit at a piano and talk trough the keys and spirit with something above us, this is what make us reach into our soul. I am very grateful for the opportunity to teach at Harmony Road and still teach their curriculum.
