The idea: where or how did you come up with it?


Ideas aren’t everything, execution matters greatly, but starting often requires an idea and so we asked folks to think back and tell us the story of how they came up with the idea for their businesses. We’ve highlighted some of our favorite stories below.

I decided to start my business in photography because creative arts were always the one area in my life that I felt I excelled and enjoyed entirely. My freshman year of high school I started taking my parents old camera out with one of my little sisters (who is my most prominent model and supporter) and friends and fell in love with trying to capture moments and taking photos that really make you feel.
