I’m inspired by magic. Since I was little, I have believed that magic is everywhere and can come in all different forms, both physical and feeling. Magic can be found in the depths of nature, in our dusty book shelves, in our gardens, in the seams of our clothes, in ourselves. Magic is in small acts of kindness, moments of noticing the shape of leaves or the color of the sky, feeling comfortable in one’s body and mind. I’m inspired by the things people don’t always see, or maybe, things that can be right under our noses. I guess you could say I’m inspired by everything, but it is in everything that magic exists, we just have to notice it. I hope my art helps people notice. Read more>>

For as long as I can remember, I have always been inspired by fashion photographer Russell James and celebrity photographer Elizabeth Messina. I feel their work shows the inner beauty of their subject. A lot of my influence also comes from the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition. They do a great job of showing the diversity of women. I also look for inspiration everywhere, whether it’s an ad I see in a magazine or a commercial on TV. When it comes down to it, I want to make a stunning, beautiful, and timeless photograph of a woman. Read more>>

Inspiration has a lot of different mediums. It can be like a spark or it can be a whisper. It can come at 2am or a random Tuesday afternoon. Despite inspirations’ varied conduits, I find that most of my inspiration comes from fashion. Specifically, 1950s fashion when the female hourglass silhouette was studied and designed for. I love this era of fashion. From the birth of rockabilly subculture to introducing a seductive form of fashion, the pinup. From pencil skirts to halters, this era of fashion was all about feminine sex appeal. I look at fashion icons like Grace Kelly and Marilyn Monroe often to see how they dressed and accessorized and love bringing a modern twist to it. Read more>>
