What value or principle matters most to you?

In our view, values and principles are the foundation upon which our lives, careers and relationships are built. So, we asked folks we admire to open up to us about the values and principles that matter most to them.

AUTHENTICITY. Showing up as who you are, allowing others to see your vulnerabilities and strengths. In all my years behind the chair, the greatest connections I’ve had are with the people I can be my complete self around. Read more>>

Authenticity. Being authentic in who I am without trying to act or appear a certain way is one of the biggest keys to not only my success, but also my mental health. I used to put on all of these different masks to try to fit in with whatever group I was around at the time without even being aware of it. I got so used to that that I lost sight of who I truly was at the center of it all. Read more>>

I have been most shaped by settling into discomfort. In everything I do, I strive for finding the balance between welcoming in newness and vulnerability, and finding the peace in that. I didn’t get involved in outdoor sports until after college, so I’ve been “new” at a lot of things as an adult (skiing, split boarding, ultra running, mountain biking, rock climbing, and more).
