The most important factor behind my success is persistence. I have had a lot of ideas that I say, “hmm, that’s a good idea,” and then it doesn’t quite work out each time. Instead of dwell on the failures, it helps to look at the lessons learned in the process. I follow my gut; every idea is an opportunity to learn something new. I truly believe the most important factor behind someone’s success and definitely behind mine is a positive attitude. Don’t get me wrong some days it is easier than others but it’s always important to maintain this glass half full outlook. I have definitely run in to days where I feel like giving up because I didn’t get a gig I wanted or I feel defeated, but it’s so important to remember that it’s all part of the process.
