We had the good fortune of connecting with Sarah and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sarah, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Hank is such a silly, sweet, cute fur baby, and we have been driven since this beginning of our work as content creators by the goal of using our platform to spread smiles and joy in the doom and gloom world we live in right now. This has become a creative outlet that has brightened so many people’s days, and we can’t wait to hit our eventual goal of continuing our small business into a merch store where we plan to raise money for rescues and shelters across the country that our followers help select!

What should our readers know about your business?
Our brand has become creative outlet that has been able to successfully brighten so many people’s days, and we worked so hard to grow our platform from 0 to 200k in the short 7 months since we rescued Hank. It has been a time consuming, challenging process to break into the dog tiktok scene, but with a lot of creativity and consistent daily story times with completely original content, we have been able to grow our story time gang to over 200k and spread joy to so many people all over the world. And now we are starting to grow our instagram family, too! Through this process, we have learned that consistency is key and to keep going even if views and engagement are slow because just like a fire, it will eventually catch and grow stronger and bigger!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We are newbies to Denver and Colorado in general so we have not gotten to become regulars anywhere besides IKEA, but we have explored down to Pike’s Peak in Colorado Springs and all around the dog off leash area at Cherry Creek State Park. So because we are huge nature and outdoor lovers, we would take our out of town friends on an outdoor adventure and wilderness camping trip at the foot of the Rockies!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Hank came from an amazing rescue called Hearts & Bones Rescue in NYC, and we wouldn’t have been paired with our baby without them! They operate out of Texas and NYC, which made it already special since mom is a native Texan who was living in NYC. So we want to send a huge thank you shout out to Hearts & Bones for bringing our sweet baby all the way from west TX to his forever home in NYC with us!
