Meet Tavia Wilson | Psychic Intuitive & Holistic Fertility Counselor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tavia Wilson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tavia, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
The way I came up with the idea for my business was very much a “follow the breadcrumbs”/ follow your intuition kind of situation. In my business, I help women who are dealing with the loss of pregnancy or struggling to conceive a child. When I was a child, I knew I had a strong intuition and soon discovered it is a gift I inherited from my grandmother. She has a very strong magnetic pull to all that she manifests and has the gift of foresight when it comes to people getting pregnant.

Although I had some experience in knowing when people are pregnant or will soon be pregnant, it didn’t really click to me that it was a gift I could harness until I experienced my own loss a few years ago and discovered how connected I was to that soul as well as the spirit realm. Shortly after, I connected to a close friends own loss and then was able to accurately predict her next pregnancy, the sex of her child and even what they would look like!

I had already been working as a psychic reader and once I had that phenomenon repeat a couple more times, I decided it would be something I should specialize in as a psychic intuitive. I began reading and studying with my mentors to perfect this gift and became a certified holistic fertility counselor. Then finally last September, I opened up shop on Instagram and haven’t looked back. I love being able to help people start or expand their families in this unique way.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Motherhood Medium is a business designed to help women/ families connect to their future children via psychic intuitive readings and to help them conceive healthy pregnancies through holistic fertility counseling. I am most proud of my clients who are making progress in their healing and conception/ pregnancy journeys. Their successes big and small are what keep me going and invigorates me to keep moving forward in evolving my business in ways that I can help even more people.

It is not always easy working as a psychic intuitive, not everyone is open minded nor do they believe such gifts should be used as to some it is considered taboo. I overcome these ongoing challenges by reminding myself and others of the many examples throughout ancient texts including the Bible where this type of gift has been given with great purpose to help and not harm. I also remind myself that each day the world is becoming more open minded to spirituality and that the work i have done so far to help people speaks for itself. There is a very practical side to my business where I raise the vibrations of those I work with through diet and healthy lifestyle changes that truly transform them.

I’ve learned quite a lot along the way but my favorite thing is just that because we are all unique, no two cases will ever be alike and therefore the miracles and transformations that take place are always different than the last which allows me to have consistent challenges and excitement! If there is anything I would like the world to know about my brand is just that; Transformation is happening all around us and working with me will encourage just that!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I always tell people visiting to go for walks and hikes. The Flat Iron trails are insanely gorgeous and offer just the right amount of challenge for just about anyone.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shoutout my grandmother Willie-Mae Garrett, of course. Without her I would not be the woman nor the intuitive reader and counselor I am today.

I would also like to shoutout my mentor Samantha Fay of the Psychic Teachers podcast for always sharing her wisdom and being the light I needed so many years ago and always.

Finally for this topic, I would like to shoutout the author Walter Makichen for writing his book Spirit Babies which helped me hone this special gift and gave a lexicon to the many unique experiences I have doing this work.
