We had the good fortune of connecting with Kevin Rauth and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kevin, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
Through my business, I learned to build my own confidence and trust myself. This revelation was life-changing in many ways, and continues to help me succeed in the other facets of my life. Life is so much easier if you know what you’re capable of. If you never realize your potential, there will be no room in your life for growth.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
There isn’t a college course that teaches you how to be a professional DJ, nor is there a defined approach to creating successful events. Through trial and error, I was able to create a service I am proud of!

There is room for infinite creativity in my line of work. Everyday, I proudly navigate through different scenarios to create a customized vision for my clients. It is a fun, refreshing, and challenging process. My favorite moment is taking a step back and watching people enjoy themselves in the space I created for them!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
This is easy! I’m a DJ, so of course I’m a music freak. I would most certainly take my best friend to Red Rocks for a live concert! The atmosphere is unique and irreplaceable.

The next big thing on my list would be to take my best friend on a hiking trip. I’d be content with somewhere above Evergreen or Boulder, then that would leave us time to come back and eat some yummy Colorado food before the day ends!

Lastly, I would take my friend tubing down the river in Golden, CO. I think the experience is so calming and unbeatable. It’s a perfect way to spend a Summer day in CO!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to shout out my family. They were the ones that planted the entrepreneurial seed in my mind. When I was ready to pursue my vision, they supported me every step of the way. To this day, they still take an interest in my career and always check in to see how things are going. It’s a great feeling!
