Hi Belinda, how has your work-life balance changed over time?

Maintaining a work life balance starts with boundaries to help reduce my stress & prevent life burnout. Since starting my own business this has been my main priority for my self care. I love to check off to do lists, I prioritize exercise and make time to relax. I love that I have the flexibility to make my own schedule to do things I enjoy.

I believe work-life balance is important in business to help lower levels of stress, sickness and help increase productivity, boost mental health & improve customer service.

What should our readers know about your business?

Here I am in my 15th year as an Esthetician & I still have so much love & passion for this industry as I did 15 years ago! My first job out of esthetics school was at a local day spa here in Centennial, CO. I was there for 5 yrs. where I had wonderful clientele, friends, and training. I went into teaching Esthetics for over 7 years at 2 different schools which gave me so much purpose. I also spent some time as a sales representative for a local skincare company. Come 2020 I was laid off as were many people. It gave me time to process what was my next step or direction in my life. I decided to take action and go for my dream and start my own business as an Esthetician & businessowner. I’m so grateful for my journey, experience, and growth in Esthetics. I am so excited to be living my dream & helping people feel beautiful in their skin.

Life always has its challenges but it creates growth. Esthetics is an ever-changing industry, I try to stay grounded and focus on what I believe in, what keeps me motivated, my passion about esthetics and my clients. I truly love all my clients, spending one on one time with them, building a relationship & trust between us!

People are allowing & trusting us in their personal space. I believe that is sacred. I always do my treatments with mindfulness and intention which I would hope that sets me apart. I love to do progressive treatments such as dermaplane, plasma pen, chemical peels, microneedling & customized facials. I want everyone to feel like they receive the Queen B Royal Treatment when they leave. I believe everyone deserves to feel their best!

Nothing comes easy but with passion and determination you can make your dreams come true!
