We had the good fortune of connecting with Adrienne Grace and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Adrienne, how do you think about risk?
The way I look at risk has significantly changed. Most of my life I played it safe, conforming to society’s standards and doing things I thought I was supposed to do. I never took much of a risk in my life. This all changed for me in 2020. I found my mentor, Bob Proctor, and learned so much about how the mind works. It made me realize how much are thinking limits us and that if you want to accomplish something big, you have to take risks. We’ve been programmed not to take risks and to fear failure. But the most successful people in the world understand that you have to take risks and you will fail and they’re ok with that. That was when I got honest with myself and decided to quit my secure high-paying finance job and start my own business. It was a huge risk and people thought I was crazy. But it was one of the best decisions of my life. Now my mindset has completely shifted. I think if I’m not accomplishing something fast enough, I need to double my risk, double my rate of failure. I’ve learned that taking risks is essential to living a rich, fulfilled life. Everything you want in life lies on the other side of a big risk. When you can retrain your mind to get comfortable with risk taking, your world can shift in amazing ways. Now my motto is feel the fear and do it anyway – the universe rewards bravery.
What should our readers know about your business?
Coaches are a growing business these days, but what makes me different is I help people change their mindset – which is the root cause of all the results in their life. I work with sales professionals and business owners helping them bring in more business while actually working less by changing their mindset & habits and create a life they love. We always focus on trying to change behaviors and habits to change results which is a slow and painful way and is usually temporary. If you want to create lasting change in your life, you need to change at the level where the results are created – our minds. People don’t have to trade more time for money and success – you can actually become a more productive, efficient person when you learn how to use the power of your mind. I take my clients on a six month journey of transformation where I am there to hold them accountable to make sure they get real results. What makes my coaching different is I’m not telling people how to do their jobs, but I show them how to close the gap between what they already know and what they do by changing their subconscious mind and habits. I also bring a lot of experience from my sales and finance background. I got to where I am today by following the same principles I coach on. Was it easy? Actually yes. Not all day everyday, of course there have been challenges but when you have a clear vision, know how the mind works, everything becomes a lot easier. I am extremely proud of the business I have built in a short amount of time and am even prouder at what my clients have accomplished. It’s so rewarding to see them making serious changes in their lives and business and just become overall happier, better versions of themselves!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would love to give them the full Colorado experience which means heading to the mountains for half the week! I would take them to Vail, if it was winter for some skiing or summer for an awesome hike on berry picker or bike ride up Vail pass. Then we’d it up Mountain Standard for some oysters and appetizers and dinner at La Nonna. The trip wouldn’t be complete without heading to the patio of El Segundo or Garfinkle’s as well as just taking in the natural beauty of the area. The trip wouldn’t be complete without having them get a custom hat Kemosabe. While back down in Denver, I’d have up walk around near Union Station and LoHi – stopping into Kaffe Landskap for a coffee and pastry, lunch at Mercantile and dinner at Tavernetta. I’d love to show them the views of the city from El Five one night and if we’re feeling sushi, Mizu Izakaya.
For something fun and unique, we’d. head over to Meow Wolf for the night and then maybe find some live music at a bar downtown. I’d just love showing them the diversity the city and mountains has to offer!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my clients. My clients are amazing and I wouldn’t be where I am without them. They inspire me and I’m always learning from them. They help keep me accountable and I know I need to do the work to be the best version of myself for them. I want to lead by example so it makes me practice what I preach. I never give anyone advice that I don’t do (or wouldn’t do) myself. So I use all my interactions with my clients as a mirror for what I need to work on as well. Their dedication to improving themselves helps fuel me and seeing their results makes me want to go out and impact more lives. I’m so incredibly grateful for all my clients.
