We had the good fortune of connecting with Yulia Fadeeva-Hashem and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Yulia, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
The main habit personally for me is consistency, which comes along with non-stop hard work, self-development and improvement, along with “coming out” of your comfort zone, because without that – you will be limiting your abilities and success chances.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m a digital content creator/entrepreneur in a beauty industry, revolutionary unique showcasing the products in a way nobody did before, either it is a picture or a video. I was born being creative and with years this gift has been developing in different aspects of my life. I decided to dedicate my talent into industry, which is always in need and where I can make a difference, not only on social media, but also getting into a heart, mind and soul of everyone who follows my art. Becoming a content creator specifically was really hard as I did not know anything about it and had nobody to help me out with a little tiny bit of information, I had to find out everything myself by trial and failures, process of which gives me an ability to teach, encourage and help others in their first steps.
I was a lonely “soldier in a middle of dessert”, who instead of giving up – built an oasis around which includes art, uniqueness, authentism, hard work, persistency, dedication, consistency, love, heart, and soul. I kept working and building myself and my name as a brand “fadeeva_hashem” for two and a half years and I can definitely say that it is quite a journey, full of joy and tears at the same time, but in a long run – I’m not stopping, as this is my hobby, which became my work I’m happy to do every day and night!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I live in Brooklyn, New York – there are definitely a lot of places to visit when you are planning a trip to the Big Apple! First thing I do when someone is visiting me or asking for an advise – I always direct them to Brooklyn downtown and waterfront as a nice advise from a local person (if you want to explore Manhattan – all the guides are online for sure). I always suggest to visit unique parks and historical places in Brooklyn Waterfront. It centers on three of my favorite places in Brooklyn, two of which are parks. Each destination is less than a 15-minute walk from the other, so once you’re in Brooklyn, you won’t have to worry about any transportation. Enjoy each place for as long as you’d like, and then head to the next: Brooklyn Bridge Park, Dumbo and John Street Park.
It can be a one day trip to Brooklyn, or you can spend just a morning or an afternoon choosing what you’d like to see. You can also spend multiple days in Brooklyn if you decide that you want to spend longer at each place. It includes three main destinations to visit, all within walking distance to each other, things to do and see in each place, food & drink options, and more!
This area of Brooklyn offers incredible views of urban Manhattan across the water, parks that feel like botanical gardens, historic places, great photo spots, and amazing food. As a local, it truly has my heart. When I feel down, I go to these places and feel better in minutes. I love them, and I think they should be for everyone. They’re in the heart of Brooklyn with views of Manhattan, without the stressful crowds.
Each place has a mind blowing variety of food spots, entertainment and other activities, which you can find online based on your preferences, all of them will be only few minutes walk from each other!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First of all – it is my husband Junior, who has been supporting me each day of my journey. It is really important to have someone, who believes in your even at your most outrageous failures and encourages you to do more, go out of your limits, and never stop! And of course, one of the biggest shoutouts is going to be to my life! All the experience from birth till present, all good and bad situations, all people you meet along your way, all the knowledge you gain from different sources – is an involvement into who I am today as a person, achieving anything I want.
