We had the good fortune of connecting with Andy Bee and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Andy, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I believe the most important factor behind my personal success, was education. Education has played a huge part in my life because you can learn so much from everyone and their experiences. I am always taking advantage of learning opportunities to help advance me in my career. I truly love my job and genuinely love learning everything about it and how to become even better at it. I am always asking questions wanting to know the reasons why? I believe when you fully understand the subject you can become a master at perfecting it. Trends are always changing and we as professionals need to stay updated and with the current beauty trends. The more you know , right? Education is the key to success!
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My passion is beauty and my art I create is to help make my clients feel the beauty that’s within them. I love transforming my guest into how they feel on the inside to show on the outside. Even though it is fun to do the avant garde work, I live for the organic natural beauty from my everyday guest that sit in my chair. I am very proud to create beautiful elegant hair and makeup for my career! As an artist coming up I have experienced both the good super successful days and the really hard un-motivating days. I always reminded myself that it’s not always going to be easy and to stay patient with myself, “no risk, no reward!” I’ve learned along the way to always trust my intuition and to constantly stay motivated in order to become successful with my goals. I want the world to know that I take my career very seriously and have big dreams and goals that I want to achieve. I want to inspire others to do the same even when they feel unreachable. I want to spread my knowledge and experience like confetti!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
In my personal opinion, I love taking friends from out of town to see our Denver’s art district in the RiNO area. It’s one of my favorite places in the city to go. I love walking the Crush Walls and looking at all the art work from our local artist who have shown love to our city through their art. It’s so fun to walk the art district while sipping a coffee from one of the local coffee shops. I also really love walking the Down Town area around 16th St. Mall stopping for snacks and people watching.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Yes , definitely! I will say I have an amazing support group of family and friends who have always been very encouraging and support my dreams and decisions I have made. When I was in beauty school I had a teacher who always saw the best in me even when I wasn’t the best student. He would challenge me when I was scared to challenge myself. He helped me believe I could do whatever I wanted to do in my career and make a living off of my passion for beauty. I read the book “You’re a bad ass at making money” by Jen Sincero, and it completely changed the way I look at my career and the mindset behind money and owning my own business. I have also learned about the popular term “manifesting” I practice it daily and have seen the amazing results first hand!
