Hi Anna, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Discovering the world through the lens has always been my passion. Photography, to me, is more than just a skill—it’s an artistic expression, a captivating tale, a language that transcends barriers. No matter where you’re from or what language you speak, a single photograph has the power to transport you to distant realms for a fleeting moment.

But then, life took an unexpected turn. Just as I embraced the role of parenthood, the relentless grip of COVID engulfed our nation, shattering our plans and relegating my beloved hobby to the sidelines. Everything changed. However, our yearning to explore and embark on exhilarating escapades with our little one remained unyielding.

Yet, the truth soon unfolded before my eyes: traveling with a tiny human was an adventure in itself, fraught with challenges I had never fathomed. Determined to help fellow parents unleash their inner adventurers and share my personal anecdotes, I made a decision—to create an enchanting Instagram account.

Within this digital realm, I aim to divulge the secrets and tricks that have brought joy and excitement to our family’s journeys. By imparting wisdom, igniting curiosity, and inspiring others, I hope to empower parents to embrace the wonders of exploration alongside their children. Life has been an uphill battle for me, a constant test of resilience and determination. Starting anew in a foreign land meant learning a new language, rebuilding my life from scratch, and toiling away at various demanding jobs just to make ends meet.

When the realization struck that my original education would not pave the way for a fulfilling career, I had to summon the courage to pivot. Balancing the role of a weight loss counselor and an administrative assistant, I embarked on a challenging journey of self-improvement. Determined to create a brighter future, I dedicated my nights to pursuing an education, inching closer to my dream degree.

Three long years of relentless dedication culminated in my graduation. With my degree in hand, I eagerly ventured into the job market, only to face repeated setbacks and disappointments. The weight of defeat threatened to overwhelm me. Yet, life has a way of presenting challenges that we are capable of bearing, challenges that shape us into something greater.

In the face of adversity, a glimmer of hope emerged. I stumbled upon an opportunity that would become a transformative chapter in my life. Surrounded by extraordinary mentors, I embarked on a path of professional and personal growth. Their guidance, support, and belief in my potential became the driving force behind my evolution.

Despite working full-time at a reputable healthcare organization, I discovered solace and joy in nurturing my Instagram account—a cherished hobby that brought me boundless delight. It became a haven of self-expression and connection, a platform where I could share my passions, insights, and experiences with a like-minded community.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Colorado, a land of enchantment, holds a myriad of breathtaking destinations waiting to be discovered. Picture-perfect vistas and boundless natural wonders set the stage for an unforgettable romantic journey.

Our first stop on this amorous adventure would be the iconic Hanging Lake. Nestled amidst the Rocky Mountains, this hidden gem may be a tourist magnet, yet its allure remains undeniable. As we ascend the trails, the anticipation builds, and upon reaching the pinnacle, a breathtaking reward awaits—a pristine oasis enveloped in nature’s majesty. Note, dear parents, that this hike may pose a challenge with a little one, but the memory etched in our hearts will make it all worthwhile.

Next, we would venture to the enchanting Estes Park—a place forever etched in the tapestry of our love story. It was here that we ventured beyond the confines of the bustling Denver metro, embracing the vibrant hues of autumn that paint the landscape in a mesmerizing symphony of colors. A paradise for families, this idyllic destination offers a tapestry of delights for our little ones: encounters with whimsical wildlife, tranquil lakes nestled against majestic mountains, and the pure joy of exploring nature’s playground.

And finally, we would immerse ourselves in the captivating embrace of nature, camping amidst the serene splendor of the Salida area. Settling near the tranquil waters, casting our lines and reeling in the day’s catch, we would lose ourselves in the symphony of crackling firewood, the cozy embrace of our tent, and the soothing melodies of flowing water. As the night sky unveils a brilliant canopy of stars, our hearts would dance in harmony with nature, finding solace and boundless joy in the simplicity of life’s treasured moments.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
In this heartfelt journey of mine, I owe all the credit to two extraordinary souls: my husband and our darling daughter. Opening my heart and sharing my dreams has never been easy, for fear of them being met with doubt or indifference. But with my incredible partner, Mike, it has been a different story altogether.

From the moment I uttered my aspirations, Mike became my unwavering pillar of support. He recognized the fire within me and nurtured it with unwavering devotion. It was he who gifted me my very first DSLR camera, a symbol of his belief in my artistic calling. And oh, how he embraces my quirks! Whenever inspiration strikes, he fearlessly pulls the car over, allowing me to capture those fleeting moments of beauty. His unwavering encouragement fuels my creative spirit, transforming my wildest ideas into tangible realities.

Yet, it is our precious daughter, affectionately known as Pipsqueak, who holds the key to my deepest inspiration. Though our expeditions may have become more challenging, with fewer impromptu photoshoot stops and fewer hours basking in the golden hour glow, her presence infuses every adventure with an irreplaceable magic. Witnessing her eyes light up as she discovers new places and experiences thrilling escapades fills my heart to the brim. Her uncontainable excitement and infectious joy remind me of the true value of our explorations. In those precious moments, I realize that the memories we create together are truly priceless.

So, with boundless love and immeasurable gratitude, I dedicate this journey to my remarkable family. Mike, my unwavering supporter and partner in crime, thank you for standing by me, for embracing my dreams as if they were your own.
