We had the good fortune of connecting with Mariah Willey and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mariah, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I wanted to be able to provide my son with experiences while being able to be apart of those experiences with him. I wanted him to have a set of close knit friends as well as something to help with routine and give him something to look forward to and be proud to be apart of.

What should our readers know about your business?
iStroll Colorado Springs is unique in its approach to we and me workouts. I strive to be able to provide all variations of workouts allowing us to be inclusive to mamas/caregivers in all stages of fitness. However, we are more than just a great workout, iStroll CO Springs is where we come together to empower, encourage, support and push each other to become the best women/mothers/caregivers we can be. All while our littles are right there with us growing, learning, playing, living and loving their best lives! Here I provide challenging workouts that seem easily accomplished because of the amount of motivation, encouragement and support that this mamahood community brings.

I am most proud of watching the mamas who are apart of this wonderful journey with me grow and flourish and accomplish fitness and other personal goals that they may have once thought they never would.

Working with moms is the hardest but most rewarding career to have. As women we are super human basically all of the time. We are always taking care of everyone else and often forget to take care of ourselves. Due to our nature, we usually do not think of our own fitness as a top priority. Getting mamas to come out to things is HARD. But getting mamas to come out to things that are also FOR them is even harder! It is the greatest amount of empathy, undertsanding, patience and consistency that gets these mamas to trust me and the mamahood clan we have built. Together we can continue to shine light and reel mamas/caregivers in to ensure we are all living and loving our best and most healthy lives.

I am not here just to make money. Of course, it is a business and that is apart of it. But, I am here to help mamas see how much they can accomplish in either a short amount of time or over an extended period. I am here to aid, support, and enhance mamas quality of life by providing quality workouts, amazing friendships and wonderful community opportunities and get togethers that make all the mamas feel like they belong and are important. iStroll Colorado Springs is YOUR spot. Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

iStroll Colorado Springs is all about community and bonding as mamas/caregivers and friends. As a member, your other family members can attend classes free while in town visiting, helping with the kiddos or just because they are curious about what we do.. So, bring em!
We often have various meetups that tap into all types of interest for all the mamas/caregivers and littles to be able to find even more of a happy place within our space. Some of our calendered events consist of hikes to Seven Falls, Fountain Creek and Bear Creek nature centers, Garden of the Gods, the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo,various parks and splash pads, mall play places and so much more!
Of course we also love to hang out as mamas/caregivers as well and as moms night outs pop up on the calendar, we aim to try out food trucks or other small business restaurants or grab a drink at Fuzzies, a Sonic slushie or even just a Chick-fil-A Sunjoy along with other voted on activities like a movie or bowling but we’re always right back with the littles before they miss us too much!
Becoming a part of iStroll Colorado Springs is more than just attending workouts throughout the week. It is finding a group of understanding and accepting individuals to grow with for both yourself and your littles!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
iStroll Colorado Springs is only as successful as the mamas who are apart of it are. This journey began with five mamas who have believed in me and our program since the first day! Shout out to you Mackenzie, Janine, Mozelle, Allie and Lela! I greatly appreciate you women and am so grateful you are apart of this mamahood clan!
