We had the good fortune of connecting with Snaff Zubberano and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Snaff, what matters most to you?
Staying true to your word is one of the most important things in this industry. At the end of the day, that’s all you really have. Once word gets around that you are unreliable and don’t actually follow through with what you say you are going to do than you are inevitably finished. If you stick to your word and deliver, quite the opposite effect happens and ultimately work will find it’s way to you and people will recommend you to other coworkers, word spreads quick! If you say you are going to eat a whole chocolate cake in 5 minutes, you better eat a whole chocolate cake in five minutes. Although, I personally prefer cheesecake. Regular cake never did much for me, I don’t get the hype.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I feel like everything I do you can tell it’s something I created, I always like to put something a little bit strange sprinkled throughout my projects. It’s hard for me to stay within certain boundaries when creating my pieces. I just unapologetically create art. I got here but aggressively networking and staying true to my word. I’m sure a lot of people say this, but never giving up is super important. This industry is filled with ups and downs and it’s a future of uncertainties but as long as you keep your eyes on the prize, nothing can stop you. Except the inevitable ai takeover of humanity, but until that happens nothing can stop you.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to shoutout the frog from the front of the honey smacks cereal box. Haven’t seen that dude in a while, hope everything is OK with him. As far as people I’d like to shoutout I would like to say my mother, father, grandmother and other family members that encouraged and helped me along the way. Without the path that they paved for me I really would be nowhere. For people in the business, I’d like to thank various artists that took me under their wing when I really didn’t know too many people in the industry. A lot of people don’t give you the time of day but, with some persistence there will be a handful of people that will help you and collaborate with you. And they will remain in your orbit as long as you pull your weight. For me those people were Sean Michael Beyer, The Dicksta, Palmer Scott, David Liebe Hart, Tawd Dorenfeld and some others. But these people really taught me the ways of the road in the entertainment industry, and really made me feel like I belonged. They key is to network, stay humble and pull your weight!
