Meet Khara Wolf | Marketing Agency Owner & Oboist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Khara Wolf and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Khara, how does your business help the community?
My favorite part of owning a marketing agency is watching other small business thrive and grow. I feel honored to be part of their journey and love that I can be there to celebrate their growth milestones.

Marketing can be a tough road to navigate as a business owner. The foundation of my business is built on helping business owners easily navigate that process so they can invest in the marketing help they need with the highest return on investment. This leads to sustainable success for them and the community.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My artistic and creative careers found me. After graduating with a degree in music performance I began implementing various marketing, website, and graphic design strategies to grow my freelance teaching studio and acquire gigs. I very much enjoyed this side of the business and became excited to pursue a second creative career that I loved.

The people are the most important factor behind the success of my businesses. Collaborating with others and being available to help my clients and students implement everything they need to succeed has pushed me to be creative, explore new technologies, and develop a wide range of services.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I grew up in Durango so the town and community hold a special place in my heart. My favorite thing to do is hike. There are some tremendous hikes in this area, and you could easily spend the better part of a week exploring without driving too far. Dalla Mountain Park and Lake Nighthorse are both super accessible. Being a fan of Celtic music, the traditional session on Sundays at 11th Street Station would be a must, followed by some food at Lolas and Taste Coffee.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have been blessed to be able to work with, and learn from, many agencies, consultants, and other mentors over the years. I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to all of my former and current clients who have trusted me to help them grow their business and bring their vision to life over the past ten years.

Additionally, I’d like to mention a shoutout to all of my former and current music students who have been the foundation of a successful teaching studio and helped me grow into a better educator.
