Meet Laure Gibbs | Wedding Venue Director, Small business Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Laure Gibbs and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Laure, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Success is subjective! I find success within freedom. Freedom to hang out with my kids, freedom to work all the time on things that bring me joy, freedom to think outside of the box.
One thing that I find that brings me success is the ability to adjust when things don’t go the way that I think they should go. As long as I’m not giving up on the overall goal, then I’m winning.
It takes a lot of courage to be successful all on your own, but its a “big risk, big reward” mindset.
What should our readers know about your business?
I first started “Colorado Bridal Company” over a decade ago and have always wanted to branch out bigger within the wedding industry. Starting “Reverie Weddings” was a long process and was not how I sought out for it to be in the first place. I spent a few years looking for property to start a wedding venue and nothing seemed to quite fit, until a colleague reached out that had been renovating an old church in Loveland, CO that wanted to partner together. I negotiated to run all the weddings out of this beautiful, old and renovated church!
Sometimes even though things are not as they seem or how you initially envision, means that they couldn’t be even better and put you on a path that could bring so much joy and success!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorite spots span over many cities and towns in Colorado! Breakfast burritos: Goodfellas in Longmont
Nachos: Jefes tacos and tequila in Longmont
Best Wedding Venue: Reverie Weddings at Casa Sagrada in Loveland
Best Motorcycle ride: Carter Lake to Mishawaka
Best Pad Thai: US Thai in Edgewater
Best Facial: all about skin by Andrea Barella in Boulder
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I dedicate this shoutout to my ride or die best friend/sister from another mister! She challenges me to think bigger and be the best and most authentic version of myself all the time. Having a friend like her gives me even more courage to dream big. I alway have a cheerleader and a butt kicker, in my corner.
