We had the good fortune of connecting with Fred Tolerico and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Fred, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
In 2019, I wanted to leave my (comfortable and fun) job in sales. I met a guy who was doing well in junk removal and set out to build myself a business as a challenge to myself. I decided Colorado Springs and the surrounding region was a fantastic market to start in. What turned into a challenge to myself has turned into a passion. I love helping people de-clutter their lives. Nothing better than seeing our customers’ faces after we finish a job.

If you’re visiting Colorado Springs, Give a visit to my favorite Pizzeria, Bambino’s Urban Pizzeria on Bijou. I’m Italian, and a very harsh food critic. These folks make great pizza. I’d also check out Rudy’s Country Store and BBQ. Best in town.

I didn’t have to do much convincing at the time, but My Wife Alexa has been there for me for 10 years. At the time we were dating and not yet married, but we both had a vision of adventure and early retirement. It hasn’t always been easy, but I wouldn’t want it any other way.
