We had the good fortune of connecting with Petrana Dudasova and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Petrana, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
If I have to admit, I didn’t grow up in a wealthy family, and that’s why I always had a dream in life to succeed and dedicate myself to business. This led me to become a workaholic, whether it was working for a company or building my own project. I was approached by a company with a new weight loss project, and thanks to my extreme diligence, I launched the project within 3 months, seizing the market gap and utilizing the opportunity of Instagram, through which no one had sold products or built this kind of business before. I had around 300 people under me. However, I grew rapidly, and it was difficult to grasp. The same thing happened later when I started focusing on my own project as an influencer and blogger. I was always on my mobile and didn’t pay attention to my family. I had many collaboration opportunities, but I didn’t see what was happening around me. One day, while working from the beach in Bali, I realized my eyes had opened, and I found other values.
When I was invited to a family lunch where we sat under a wooden roof, and ate various types of potatoes, nothing more than smiling at each other and talking, it was a magical moment. Or when everyone sat on the beach and enjoyed the sunset after surfing, listening to the sound of waves in the ocean. It’s better to take things step by step and build a strong foundation because if we want everything quickly, we lose control not only over the business but also over ourselves.
My eyes opened, and I found new life values. I discovered balance. Balance in life is important to be happy, effective, always vital, and healthy. If we want to live a long, and fulfilling life, sometimes we have to wait for the right wave. If it doesn’t work today, it will be better tomorrow because we’ll come with a clear head and thoughts. Balance means our inner peace and happiness.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
From Sales to Self-Presentation: A Journey Full of Passion and Art> Throughout my life, I have considered myself a salesperson. From the start, I saw that commerce is everywhere around us, and each of us is, in a sense, a salesperson. I began as an assistant in a real estate office, worked for Coca-Cola Hellenic, and also for a travel company. Later, for about 5 years, I worked in winter resorts, developing my projects, traveling, and learning languages such as English and German. Subsequently, I entered the field of healthy eating, where I quickly built a project using Instagram and discovered the power of social networks. In the last 6 to 7 years, I have been devoted to online marketing, content creation, and influencer marketing, and eventually, I ventured into modeling, which is my passion and something that truly excites me.
Modeling, for me, means more than just posing; it is an artistic form rooted in a lifelong relationship with art. This passion extends beyond social media into real collaborations with people and brands. Standing in front of the camera, capturing a concept, or outfit, or creating videos for a hotel allows me to quickly immerse myself in the situation and truly enjoy it. When I see a camera, I immediately switch to a mode where I know it’s essential to showcase who I am and deliver the best work while radiating positivity for the most effective impact. It’s demanding but fulfilling. This artistic journey intertwines with content creation on social media, where I create lifestyle content on the profiles @petrranka on Instagram, and I’ve also started on TikTok.
Originally, once used for selling products, my content creation gradually transformed into self-presentation. Authenticity plays a crucial role; when we better understand ourselves, we can truly present ourselves, believe in ourselves, and believe in what we present. We build trustworthy and positive relationships with brands and people who follow us on social media. Recommendations for comfortable fashion from a brand or a pleasant hotel are more impactful when they stem from genuine experiences. I highly value collaborations with brands and companies offering quality products, and I give my best because I invest myself, my creativity, passion, and joy into the work I create. This path was opened for me through modeling and collaborations with true professionals in various corners of the world.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Given that I have a rather creative and artistic soul and I love photography, I am fascinated by the city center, downtown. In this area, you’ll find museums, excellent restaurants, and bars, which I haven’t had the chance to explore yet. My favorite place to visit is the Rocky Mountains chocolate shop, where I adore chocolate with orange and strawberry jelly. Right next door is also the best sandwich I’ve ever had – IKE’s. In the city center on 16th Street Mall, my favorite Mexican restaurant with lots of lights and artistically designed interior is Otra Vez Cantina. The best experience of my life was at a concert at Red Rocks – Tyler Childers. Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater is a unique place worth seeing. I was lucky to attend two unforgettable concerts. And I must not forget about the beauty of nature I discovered in Rocky Mountain National Park. I love nature, and Colorado offers stunning scenery that I can admire for hours.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My greatest motivator is the bestselling author, and coach Robin Sharma, from whom I have read almost all of his books. The first book that changed my life was “The 5 am Club.” It taught me self-discipline and motivated me to continue creating and working on myself. Similarly, his other books and those of other motivators have had a profound impact on me. The ones who deserve the greatest recognition in my life are my family, who have consistently supported me in life and my decisions. Even in moments when it was tough, I decided to explore the world. I spend very little time at home, but with great love and joy, I return home because I know that my family, who loves me above all, is waiting for me, and when I need it most, they help me lift my head proudly and continue forward. My home is also an amazing place to reset because it reminds us of where we came from and who we are. I love you, Mom, Dad, brother, and sister. Another person who motivates me is my boyfriend, who gives me love and reminds me that anything is possible. He sees things with ease, is one of the best freeride skiers and photographer, and possesses self-discipline and immense creativity. He believes in himself, pursues goals, and reminds me every day that I am a strong, smart, beautiful woman.
Last but not least is someone who is no longer here, my grandmother. She gave love to everyone and loved people even when some hurt or humiliated her. She was always kind, and gentle, with a beautiful heart. To the people who propelled me in life or influenced my life, there are several, and I sincerely thank them all. There is nothing more important than having the right people in your life, and those who don’t belong will leave on their own.
