Hi Lisa & Steven, what do you attribute your success to?
As a mobile coffee owner, the most important factor behind the success of our brand is undoubtedly the quality of our coffee. We work closely with our roaster, The Coffee Ride, who sources high-quality beans, roasts them to perfection, and we craft delicious beverages that consistently delight our customers.

However, it’s not just about the coffee itself. The overall customer experience plays a crucial role as well. From friendly and attentive service to creating a welcoming atmosphere at our coffee van, we strive to ensure that every interaction with our brand leaves a positive impression.

Additionally, our ability to adapt and innovate in response to customer feedback and market trends has been instrumental in our success. Whether it’s introducing new seasonal flavors, expanding our menu to include specialty drinks, or participating in local events to reach new customers, we’re always looking for ways to stay relevant and keep our brand fresh in the minds of our patrons.

Ultimately, it’s the combination of exceptional coffee, outstanding service, and a commitment to continuous improvement that has helped us build a loyal customer base and establish our brand as a beloved fixture in the community.

As the proud owners of Astro Coffee Van, Steven and I are passionate about combining our different backgrounds and strengths to create a unique and sustainable mobile coffee experience. With Steven’s extensive experience in the coffee industry and my expertise in mobile operations, we’ve worked tirelessly to turn our long-time dream into reality.

What sets Astro Coffee Van apart from others is our commitment to innovation and sustainability. One of our proudest achievements is our decision to run the van entirely on solar power. This innovative move not only reduces our environmental footprint but also allows us to operate in a more sustainable and eco-friendly manner. Our passion for the environment drives everything we do, from sourcing ethically and sustainably grown coffee beans to using eco friendly cups, lids & straws.

Our journey to where we are today hasn’t been easy, but it’s been incredibly rewarding. We’ve faced numerous challenges along the way, from securing financing for our venture to navigating the complexities of designing and building a solar-powered mobile coffee van. However, through perseverance, creativity, and a shared commitment to our vision, we’ve been able to overcome these obstacles and continue moving forward.

One of the most important lessons we’ve learned is the power of resilience. In the face of setbacks and challenges, we’ve learned to adapt, innovate, and keep pushing forward. We’ve also learned the importance of collaboration and community, building strong relationships with local suppliers, businesses, and customers who share our values and support our mission.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were visiting Golden, CO for a week-long trip, I’d ensure they experience the best of what this beautiful area has to offer. Here’s a sample itinerary:

Morning: Start the day with breakfast burritos from Bonfire Burritos. They offer a delicious selection to fuel up for the adventures ahead.
Mid-Morning: Head to Clear Creek Canyon for some hiking and fishing. The canyon offers stunning scenery and excellent trails for outdoor enthusiasts.
Lunch: Enjoy a picnic by the creek with sandwiches and snacks.
Afternoon: Continue exploring the canyon or try your hand at fly fishing in the pristine waters of Clear Creek.
Evening: Return to Golden and dine at The Golden Mill. This historic venue offers a cozy atmosphere and delicious food and drinks.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?

As a mobile coffee owner, I am incredibly grateful for the support, guidance, and encouragement we’ve received along the way. First and foremost, I want to express my heartfelt thanks to our parents, whose unwavering support and belief in our vision have been a constant source of inspiration. Their encouragement has fueled our determination to pursue our dream of bringing exceptional coffee to our community.

I also want to extend a special shoutout to our talented graphic designer, Adam Bruley. His creative vision and expertise have played a pivotal role in shaping our brand identity and ensuring that our mobile coffee truck stands out in a crowded market. Adam’s dedication to excellence has helped us create a visually compelling brand that resonates with our customers.

In addition, I want to recognize the invaluable partnerships we’ve forged with local businesses like The Coffee Ride, Bonfire Burritos, and Longmont Dairy. These collaborations have not only enriched our offerings but have also allowed us to tap into new customer bases and strengthen our presence in the community. We are truly grateful for their support and collaboration.

Lastly, I want to acknowledge that our success and where we are in life is undoubtedly thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love, and encouragement of many others.
