We had the good fortune of connecting with Ron Isaacson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ron, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
As a creative I have experienced first-hand the impact one can have on society.
As an EcoSculptor and EcoArts activist I’m involved in local, state and national efforts to introduce the concept of Creative Re-use & EcoArts across environmental & educational sectors. My Amazar Avian series was developed to encourage insightful sustainable thinking on ways to offer extended life to materials that might otherwise end up in landfills.
And as the Executive Director of the Evergreen Creative District, I lead a team focusing on branding Evergreen Colorado, a small unincorporated community in the foothills above Denver, as a “Haven For Creatives “ and promote the concept, “Creativity Lives Here”.
The success of those initiatives are helping protect and preserve our community and our planet for future generations.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Legend has it, through a portal in the multiverse is a realm where an extraordinary species of Amazar Avians have existed for eons, discreetly visiting earth to help those in need by bringing hope, peace, goodwill, and positive energy wherever they appear.
Not long ago, an Amazar portal appeared in my mountain art studio above Denver compelling me as an EcoSculptor to bring form to the Amazar Avians: the healers, guardians, sages and the wise, and help them in their mission to bring about a more harmonious balance to the planet and its inhabitants.
My Amazar Avians© and Amazar Tales© were brought to life in my Evergreen Colorado studio by manipulating deconstructed recycled / repurposed vintage leathers, found objects, earth elements & sacred crystals.
Flocks of unique Amazar Avians, radiating peace and overflowing with love are on a mission to promote healing and hope. As they wing across the planet, they are looking for a special place to call home. I encourage people to explore my website www.amazaravians.world and visit galleries throughout the Greater Denver/Foothills area to experience my creations, adopt an Amazar Avian and shift their reality.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Evergreen Colorado, is a unique unincorporated community in the foothills above Denver. Without the aid of a local government, it has established a 150-year history of arts and cultural entities that comprise Evergreen’s Creative Industry. It’s the home of numerous festivals, creative organizations, and a place to experience live music every day of the week. You might even encounter me playing my harmonica’s with some great local musicians at a Thursday night open mic.
As the only Colorado Creative District along the Historic Lariat Loop Scenic Byway, it’s less than 30 minutes from Denver. Evergreen is a “Haven for Creatives” populated by: Arts Advocates, Entrepreneurs, Artreprenures, Innovators, Visionaries, Imagineers in an atmosphere of natural wonders, forests, lakes and open spaces. Come experience unique culinary arts, exciting theatre performances, arts programs, concerts, and exhibitions.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I was raised in a family of entrepreneurs and taught to trust my instincts. I grew up an outsider, an odd child. To survive as a creative spirit, I was encouraged to surround myself with people who shared common interests. Associating myself with likeminded people, those who honored my creative consciousness and opted into playing a role in turning my visions into realities have enabled me along an incredible journey:
• To the thousands of artists who shared my vision – I offer my thanks. You enabled me to formulate a unique gallery concept, Mindscape Gallery. Based in the Chicago area from the early 70’s to the late 90’s, it fostered an arts marketing philosophy that brought me invitations to sit on a multitude of local and national boards and committees, and offered me leadership roles where, as a catalyst, I could have an impact on helping individuals, organizations and communities better themselves.
• To those affiliated with major arts/cultural organizations who took notice of my efforts, I offer thanks for their support and aid as I establish myself as a consultant who specialized in Arts & Economic Development initiatives on local, national and international levels.
• To those who I’ve called friends, I offer hugs for the kindness and understanding you’ve shown as I’ve pursued my passions as a sculptor, a musician and an arts activist.
• To those that offer love, comfort and concern for my well-being, as I live the balance of time I have left on this planet, surrounded by the wonders and beauty of a natural forest, high on a mountain side above Denver Colorado, I offer my you, my heart.
