We had the good fortune of connecting with Adrienne Scott-Trask and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Adrienne, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
How much time it takes! I work seven days a week. I never really take any time off. As a fashion truck owner, in order to get the good parking spots I usually have to show up by 6am even though we usually don’t open until 8:30! I’m glad I make it look really fun and easy but it takes a lot of grit and determination to be successful.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m really excited about how solid our brand has become over the last year or so. Our identity has really come into its own. We’ve always been really cute and girly but we also have a really sassy side. I’ve really run with that “sassy” attitude this last year by creating our slogan “for girly girls who drop f-bombs”. It really solidified our image by setting us apart from just another super girly boutique!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oh gosh, Lots of hiking in the mountains. That’s all I do in my free time. A drive up to mount Evans followed by lunch and drinks in Idaho springs! I’d definitely go shopping in some of the second hand shops along south broadway! A night at mount Princeton hot springs. Dinner at linger. Brunch at snooze! Maybe a movie and dinner at Alamo draft house! Too many good spots to check out in this city!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would say it’s mainly the other fashion trucks in Denver who inspired me! It wasn’t until I moved here until I saw my first fashion truck and trailer! It was actually a conversation I had with one of the owners of “the Denver fashion truck” asking him about events around town where he told me to “buy a truck”. I laughed, thinking I’d just get a pop up tent for events and after this conversation I started looking though Craigslist for a truck instead! I bought the truck I own now two weeks after that conversation!
