In our experience, most folks, including ourselves don’t have enough of an understanding of risk and the role it plays in our lives and careers and so we have made a concerted effort as a team to have conversations about risk with our interviewees. We’ve shared some highlights below.

No thank you), I have made pivotal decisions in my career and personal life that would undeniably be classified as significant risks based on my instincts. As a pastor I believe Jesus wants His followers to live a life of faith. Risk should be a normal part of life as we walk by faith and not by sight. My whole like is kind of one risk after the other. It was a risk to get married, to have kids, to leave the family business to pursue ministry, to move out of state to start a church, to take over a church, and to start businesses. I don’t think we should throw desecration to the wind. I do believe in a miracle working God, and I also believe in math. There has to be a reasonable plan for the next risk.
